Having released popular Drum & Bass music since 1997, on leading labels such as Renegade, Partisan, 720 degrees, and Good Looking Records, Future Engineers finally launch brand new imprint Transference Recordings. It is designed to become a regular outlet – via digital download stores – for top quality and forward-thinking, deep D&B music.
The label sets off on a very strong foot with Future Engineers delivering the superb Ellipse EP – a refreshingly diverse collection of deeper D&B tracks from the top drawer.
Sabrina Lytton is a Seattle based vocalist and songwriter currently working under the project name La Marée. Blending elements of ethereal, dream pop and dark wave, she creates haunting songs inspired by escapism and nature.
Eckul’s musical background includes everything from playing piano as a young boy to thrashing heavy metal guitar as a wily teenager. All these elements plus pulsating 80’s inspired synths and melodic percussion form Eckul’s unique approach to electronic/acoustic music.
Eckul combines traditional electronic house music with progressive elements reminiscent of early progressive rock from the likes of Pink Floyd. He manages to walk the tightrope between pop and progressive like very few other artists.
